Brisbane's central location provides easy access to a variety of places to visit and activities to partake in. If you are staying in Brisbane for longer than conference, you will find there is not plenty to do locally, but much to explore in the nearby surrounding areas.

- Mount Coot-tha - Overlooking the city, Mount Coot-tha not only provides stunning views, but fine dining as well.
- Brisbane Botanic Gardens - The Botanic Gardens showcase our flora, as well as hosting the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium on site.
- Alma Park Zoo - A collection of animals from across Australia and the world.
- Fort Lytton - Visit the Brisbane River's defenses from between 1881 and the end of World War Two.
Gold Coast - Famous for its amusement parks: Seaworld, Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, Movie World, as well as Thunderbird Park, Springbrook National Park, world famous beaches, and of course shopping.
