Dr Trent Munro

Dr. Munro joined Amgen in May 2013, where he is currently a scientific director and leads the cell line development group within process development. Dr. Munro obtained a BSc (hon) from James Cook University in 1997 and his PhD in protein biochemistry from the University of Queensland in 2000. He then went on to do postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and at the Gurdon Institute, University of Cambridge. In 2006, he moved to the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) at the University of Queensland, where he was an associate group leader and a Queensland Government Smart Futures Fellow.
