Born at Jilin, Jilin province in 1969.Graduate from Jilin University, China, receiving a B Bachelor’s degree in 1994; And 1997, M.S., Jilin University; 2001, Ph.D. Degree, Yamanashi University, Japan; 2004 to date, Institute of Process Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences: Professor, the member of “Chinese Academy of Sciences Project of one hundred Talents”.

He was a committee member including the Academic Council, Institute of Process Engineering, the Metallurgical Physical Chemistry Council, Nonferrous Metals Society of China. The editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Process Engineering; Visiting professor of State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, Jilin University. Part-time professor, Beijing University of Technology.

Mainly engaged in the soft chemistry synthesis and application of inorganic functional materials including porous, layered and nano-sized materials. The research themes are focused on the development, design and application of the energy sources, catalyst and environment materials by self-assembly, surface modifying methods. Some researchs in the following fields are being performed: semiconductor metal oxide sensitive material, environmental friendly heat stabilizer for PVC, high efficient adsorbent for heavy metal ions, porous TiO2 films for photocatalysis, and so on.
