Abstracts

We encourage postdoctoral researchers and postgraduate students to submit abstracts.

All abstracts for both oral and poster presentations will be made into an abstract book available for conference delegates.

Abstracts should be forwarded to submissions@icbni.com.au with the relevant stream noted in the subject line. Submissions will be allocated dependent on relevance to the nominated streams.

The conference committee will decide whether or not you are allocated an oral or poster position (unless you specify in your abstract submission that you only wish to be considered for a poster).

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Please adhere to the style indicated in the abstract template provided below. Copy-paste your text into the provided document, and maintain the indicated formatting.

Abstracts must not exceed one page in length and 2mb in file size, and must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document.

If you wish to be considered for an oral presentation please indicate your preference on your abstract submission using the template provided above.

Oral presentations will consist of 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions.

Abstracts not selected for an oral speaking position will be offered a poster presentation opportunity. Presenters may also submit abstracts solely wishing to present a poster.

Poster Formatting

Posters should be no larger than A0 (84cm wide x 119cm high) in portrait orientation, not landscape.

Conference Language

The 2017 International Conference on BioNano Innovation will be conducted in English.
